Alison Burrell to lead NYA’s marketing and communications


NYA has today announced that Alison Burrell has been appointed Associate Director (Marketing & Communications).

Alison, previously Head of International Sales and Marketing at G4S Risk Consulting, brings a wealth of strategic marketing experience to NYA as the company continues to expand its capabilities and presence in New York, London and Singapore.

Alison will join NYA from 8 January 2018 and will have responsibility for the company’s overall marketing strategy and execution, overseeing the brand, communications, market engagement and events.

Industry experience and a wealth of expertise

Alison has prior experience at NYA, having managed the company’s maritime operations between 2008-2009 during the height of private maritime security company activity in the Gulf of Aden. After this period, Alison joined G4S Risk Consulting and has worked with some of the largest companies in the world in all industries to develop holistic security solutions that meet their organisational requirements. Alison also held responsibility for the company’s overall marketing strategy, and for planning, organising and coordinating global client travel risk management security solutions including the evacuation of over 1,000 individuals during the 2011 Arab Spring.
